Who Needs DVDs When You Have the Network

Since having the WWE Network I been buying less of their DVDs and at one point Blu-Rays. If a Pay Pre View was good I would drop a $20 on the DVD and when WWE was producing documentaries on past or current superstars I would buy it day one.

I still have a WWE DVD and Blu-Ray collection, a lot of it I don’t need but some will stay with me forever like The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior, Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story, and any collection featuring Bret Hart. The only home video releases I do buy from WWE is WrestleMania, sure I can rewatch it on the Network but owning it and having it next to all the other WrestleManias is nice.

Outside of WWE I occasionally buy a shoot or indie show. Recently I been buying 2006 Ring of Honor DVDs because the guy at the mall has them for $1.50 each. I also bought Cody: The American Nightmare DVD set from ROH. And I still keep up with New Japan…

I occasionally pop in a disc to rewatch a match, but I mostly go back and listen to the interviews or promos. Anything from Savage, Dusty, or Piper. Their DVD sets has hours of promos. As for now… I’ll just go through my collection and weed out what I’m keeping and not.
