Doiner’s Top Ten Video Games! of All the Times

10. Blast Corps (Nintendo 64)

I put many of hours into Blast Corps, it’s just mindless fun. Guiding cargo and destroying building.

9. Tetris (GameBoy)

My GameBoy days were limited, didn’t have many games for the handheld but Tetris has also been my go to. I still play it to this day on the NES.

8. Aladdin (NES)

I know all about the debate. Which version is better SNES or Genesis… SNES by far. Aladdin is the first game I tried to speed run. I wanted to see how fast I could beat it.

7. Mortal Kombat (SEGA Genesis)

I first played MK in a arcade like everyone else, when it came to home console and my locale video store got their copy, I got the phone call to come rent it. I still follow and play MK. MK X has been my go to for the past couple years, even though I have MK 11.

6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)

Whenever my mom and I would go shopping at the mall, at some point we would stop by the arcade so I could play TMNT. I would search the game floor until I found it and if I only had a quarter or a dollar, that one game took it all.

5. WCW vs nWo: World Tour (Nintendo 64)

My prior experiences with wrestling video games came from the NES era with WrestleMania, and Steel Cage Challenge. WCW vs nWo: World Tour was a major upgrade. When people say they dumped countless hours into GoldenEye, I did the same with World Tour.

4. Marvel Super Heroes (PlayStation)

A Street Fighter style game with Marvel characters. I rented this game many of times. But had to play it at a buddies house because I was a Nintendo kid. Those PS1 loading times were just brutal. HULK, Wolverine, and Spider-Man were my top three and Thanos was a pain to defeat.

3. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (SEGA Genesis)

This is the second game I tried speed running. I got pretty good at it, it’s a simple beat’em up. You control one of the Rangers and progress through levels beating up Oozemen and such. The Power Rangers theme in 16-bit is awesome.

2. Ghostbusters The Game (XBoX 360)

The most fun I ever had playing a video game came from Ghostbusters. Busting ghost, throwing the trap, scanning for ghost and my favorite part… Walking around the firehouse.

1. Super Mario Bros. (NES)

The first video game I remember playing. Once you know what to do it’s so simple. I would sit in front of my TV and try my best to save the princess. I still play Super Mario Bros. to this day on original hardware.
