Micro Machines and Star Wars

I have never been a Hot Wheels, Matchbox or Micro Machines fan as a kid but that changed when I got a Micro Machines Star Wars: Endor playset. Mini figures and ships, you could setup your very own diorama. I guess it was 1993 when I got the Endor set from Wal*Mart. I know shortly after getting that set I got the R2D2 Jabba’s Palace, Death Star, and Millennium Falcon sets. I had a whole roster of figures and planets to explore.

Like a lot of things over time, I lost majority of those mini figures leaving me with just the playsets. As for those sets I probably sold them in a garage sale. But I really had a great time playing with those Micro Machines.

About a week ago I was in my local comic and toy shop and they had a whole set of Star Wars Micro Machines and I went hog wild! I picked up that Endor set and Death Star Trench Run. I also spent some time on eBay getting a few other sets as well.
