The Dark Knight Jokers (2008)

I like what Todd McFarlane is doing with the DC Comics license but I’m tired of every figure being from DC Metal. There’s so many variations of Batman it’s 1997 all over again. I’m waiting on McFarlane Toys to make a Captain Cold or Killer Croc, give me a Jonah Hex… While waiting for something different to come from Todd, I been branching out looking at older DC figures from past years and found some good ones.

When The Dark Knight was released two different Jokers were made. A movie, and animated version. I picked up both. The movie version Joker is pretty much screen accurate and at the time probably the best Joker figure money can buy. As for the animated Joker he’s a bit much, with a noticeable bald spot and he comes with a oversized suitcase filled with weapons. Gotta keep it kid friendly.

Another line of DC figs I been hunting for is Kenner’s Swamp Thing from the early 90’s. As I said in my Let’s Talk Swamp Thing overview I’m not looking to complete a full run but just the figs I like.
